This pillar base was one of eighteen like it which were found in this room. In addition to the pillar bases were found a female skull, a miniature monkey figure and two limestone capitals.

Other notes:It is unusual to find large stone objects like this at an Indus Valley site. Stone was not readily available and was usually used for small statues or special objects.
