* Title:Pot sherd
Excavation number: DK 8169
*

Excavation notes:
This pot sherd was found in what appeared to be a house. The house seemed to share a courtyard with a couple of other houses. The shard was found 14 feet and 3 inches below the surface.

Location: 7, IV, 49

Other notes:
This sherd is decorated in a typical Indus Valley floral pattern. Painted pottery was probably more valuable than plain pottery because of the time and skill put into decorating the pots.
