Each entry in the Notebook has information about an object. The different types of information are explained below.
Title and excavation number
You will see a title and excavation number for each object.
How did they keep track of objects at the Mohenjo-daro excavations?
Excavation notes
Excavation notes give you the chance to read some of the types of information recorded and comments made by the original excavators about the object.
Other notes
Other notes give further information. This might include new ideas about how a particular type of object was used, general information about the Indus Valley Civilization which has been learned since the original excavators worked at Mohenjo-daro, or information about animals shown on objects or materials used to make the objects.
